Our team has won contracts from the LOUISIANA OFFICE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (OIT), OFFICE OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND MANAGEMENT (OTM), and the LOUISIANA RECOVERY AUTHORITY (LRA) and its “Road Home” program as well as its Hazard Mitigation Grant program (HMGP).
Teknologi has provided hosting and support for the LOUISIANA COMMUNITY AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE SYSTEM (LCTCS) schools throughout the state. Our technical staff provided on-call 24/7 support while improving various technical/IT aspects of the LCTCS system on all of its campuses statewide. This work also entailed Teknologi providing support services for the LCTCS web-based Student Data System.
Members of our team consulted with the LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT of CHILDREN and FAMILY SERVICES (DCFS) in addressing some of its modernization efforts and its planning for the development and implementation of their Common Access Front End (CAFE) System.
Our team has been intimately involved in the LOUISIANA OFFICE of STUDENT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (LOSFA) “Taylor Opportunity for Students” (TOPS) program upgrade. TOPS provides eligibility requirements processing for all of Louisiana’s high school students and grant recipients.
Additionally, our people have worked with the UNIVERSITY of NEW ORLEANS (UNO) INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER (ITC) at the lakefront in New Orleans, with the SPACE & NAVAL WARFARE COMMAND (SPAWAR) facility located there, and with several of the university’s in-house programs (Center for Energy Resources Management – CERM), etc.

LOUISIANA WORKFORCE COMMISSION (LWC) – PROJECT 1
Teknologi provided full-time/on-site web development (Java/J2EE, SQL, etc.) as part of on-going development and maintenance of the LWC Louisiana Rehabilitation Services information systems. This included design, upgrades, and enhancements of the AWARE and integrated Report and Payment Management applications.
LOUISIANA WORKFORCE COMMISSION – PROJECT 2
Teknologi led the change management approach to implement a new Unemployment Insurance Benefits System for the Louisiana Workforce Commission that automated the initial filing, weekly filing, overpayments, and appeals processes while also integrating the user with workforce job information. The statewide IT solution impacted over 5,000 employees, 25,000 Louisiana citizens and constituency groups. The change strategy also provided a roadmap to sustain organizational competence, process improvement, data and system readiness.
LOUISIANA WORKFORCE COMMISSION – PROJECT 3
Teknologi was a subcontractor hired to assist with the response to the state’s/LWC’s RFP for Unemployment Insurance Fraud Prevention and Detection Strategies. Technologi also represented the team at the vendor’s conference in Baton Rouge.
LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY (LSU)
Teknologi provided change management support to Workday on a cloud-based HR & Finance solution for the entire Louisiana State University system.
LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HOSPITALS (DHH)
Teknologi is currently working on an Independent Verification and Validation project for DHH as required by CMS (U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) for efforts in which their dollars are the primary funding source.
The IV&V is for a new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) implemented by Deloitte (Teknologi has provided the IV&V Lead and Q.A. Tester via subcontract).
